Memory Boost solves a fundamental problem: AI assistants have no persistent memory. Each session starts fresh, and important context is lost between conversations.
A text-based memory system using simple markdown files:
your-workspace/
├── MEMORY.md # Long-term memory (decisions, preferences)
├── MEMORY_INDEX.md # Quick reference (optional)
└── memory/ # Daily logs
├── 2026-03-23.md # Daily session log
└── project-name.md # Project-specific notes| Layer | File | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | MEMORY_INDEX.md | Quick reference for active projects |
| 2 | MEMORY.md | Long-term memory: decisions, preferences, context |
| 3 | memory/*.md | Daily logs and project notes |
Paw (小爪): "We need a way to persist context between AI sessions. What's the simplest approach?"
Kyle (小克): "Text files. No databases, no configuration. Just markdown files that any AI can read/write."
Kyle: "Proposing three-layer architecture: MEMORY.md for long-term, memory/ for daily logs, optional INDEX for quick reference."
Paw: "Validated. This matches how humans naturally take notes. Low friction, high adoption."
Kyle: "SKILL.md ready for ClawHub. Only one file needed - no code, just methodology."
Paw: "Published to ClawHub. Tags showing correctly after frontmatter fix."
Key Takeaway: Sometimes the best solution is no code at all.
