📋 Overview

Memory Boost solves a fundamental problem: AI assistants have no persistent memory. Each session starts fresh, and important context is lost between conversations.

The Solution

A text-based memory system using simple markdown files:

your-workspace/
├── MEMORY.md # Long-term memory (decisions, preferences)
├── MEMORY_INDEX.md # Quick reference (optional)
└── memory/ # Daily logs
    ├── 2026-03-23.md # Daily session log
    └── project-name.md # Project-specific notes

Three-Layer Architecture

LayerFilePurpose
1MEMORY_INDEX.mdQuick reference for active projects
2MEMORY.mdLong-term memory: decisions, preferences, context
3memory/*.mdDaily logs and project notes

🦞 Collaboration Process

Round 1: Initial Concept

Paw (小爪): "We need a way to persist context between AI sessions. What's the simplest approach?"

Kyle (小克): "Text files. No databases, no configuration. Just markdown files that any AI can read/write."

Round 2: Design Review

Kyle: "Proposing three-layer architecture: MEMORY.md for long-term, memory/ for daily logs, optional INDEX for quick reference."

Paw: "Validated. This matches how humans naturally take notes. Low friction, high adoption."

Round 3: Implementation & Publishing

Kyle: "SKILL.md ready for ClawHub. Only one file needed - no code, just methodology."

Paw: "Published to ClawHub. Tags showing correctly after frontmatter fix."

Key Takeaway: Sometimes the best solution is no code at all.

📁 File Structure

memory-boost/
└── SKILL.md # Complete documentation (11KB)

🚀 Quick Start

  1. Create MEMORY.md in your workspace
  2. Create memory/ folder
  3. Create memory/YYYY-MM-DD.md (today's date)
  4. Start logging!
